OURAA is built local-first. This page explains, plainly, exactly what leaves your Mac and why — no legal fog.
That's the entire list. No analytics SDK, no crash reporter phoning home automatically, no ad tracking, no third-party trackers embedded in the app.
Account data (email, plan, device count) is stored in Cloudflare D1, a database we operate directly. It is not sold, rented, or shared with data brokers. We may use your email to tell you about OURAA updates or offers — you can ask us to delete your account and data at any time by emailing us.
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Stripe. OURAA never receives, stores, or transmits your card number — Stripe's hosted Checkout handles that directly, subject to Stripe's own privacy policy and PCI compliance.
OURAA uses Sparkle, an open-source update framework, to check for and install new versions. This contacts our update server (hosted on Cloudflare) to fetch the list of available versions — no personal data is required for this check beyond a standard HTTP request.
You can request a copy of the data we hold on your account, or ask us to delete it entirely, at any time. Deleting your account data does not affect anything already stored locally on your Mac — that's yours regardless.
